Oh, honey!

Happy Friday, y’all! And Happy Fall, y’all! Today is the Autumn Equinox–the first official day of fall, though we won’t really notice the change much here in the South! I hope these stories make you smile, anyway!

1. A Very Welcome Guest

I’m kind of obsessed with this story, y’all! Georgia Southern sophomore Jessica Lewis wanted to avoid as much of Hurricane Irma’s wrath as she could. She wanted to leave campus for her home in Atlanta last Thursday, but there was just one problem. Jessica wanted to take her dog Luna home with her as well, but going back to her apartment after her last class of the day would force her to leave late and to endure much more traffic.

Without expecting much, Jessica emailed her professor and asked if Luna could accompany her to class, and he gave the best response EVER! A minute after her email, Jessica received this response: “SHE’S OBVIOUSLY A GOOD GIRL SO OF COURSE YOU CAN BRING HER.” Y’all, this is one great professor!

2. A Unique Talent

Go check out more of his videos, y’all!

3. An Uncoordinated Coordination

Not two, not three, but SIX women wore the exact same dress to a wedding! And, no, they were not bridesmaids; it just happened! Don’t they all just look fantastic?

4. This Hilarious Reaction

How cute is that?

5. A Beautiful Bathroom

Artist Shari Jackson Link painted inspiring murals in the girls’ bathrooms of The Fayetteville Academy in Fayetteville, North Carolina. I so wish my middle school had done something like this! How cool!

I hope I made y’all smile today! Have a happy and safe weekend, y’all!
